| One of 13 children. Installed as a pastor of the First congregational Church Sept 2, 1852. Came from Fitchburg, where he had been pastor of the Calvinistic Congregational Curch from July 1838 to June 1852. He served in Royalston sixteen years. Was in the legislature 1864 and a member of the school committee. He went to Hamstead, NH for five years, completing forty years in the ministry. Later he lived with his daughter Mrs. Charles S Bullock (Harriet Marquerite) if Kill Buck, NY. Died in NY and is buried in Fitchburg Mass. |
